Join us on an exciting journey with Boels, where our vibrant growth strategy is taking us to new heights! This growth (organic & through acquisitions) goes hand in hand with many changes in which you as HR Business Partner (Central Europe) play a significant role.

You’ll be supporting and advising the Central European Management Team (6 FTE responsible for the General Rental and Do IT Yourself (DIY) division) on all people and organizational topics. With a scope consisting of 1000 talented individuals and generating revenue exceeding €200 million, your impact is profound and far-reaching.

As the linchpin between HR headquarters and our country-specific HR teams, you wield influence in both strategic and tactical HR initiatives within your domain. While your focus remains on translating & shaping overarching strategies, your counterparts in local HR Business Partnerships handle the day-to-day operational tasks.

In this role you will be part of our HR community consisting of 100 colleagues spread over Europe. You report to the Business Director (responsible for the same scope) and you have regular interactions with our HR director, ensuring alignment and synergy in our collective endeavors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic people & organization objectives in your scope, including organizational design;
  • Drive the HR agenda for operational Business Units, liaising with management and HR center of expertises (e.g. L&D, Recruitment etc.) as required;
  • Advising the Management Team on strategic & tactical HR topics;
  • Support Senior manager in salary reviews, performance and talent evaluation;
  • Coach, support and advise the regional/local HR Business Partners within the division;
  • Coach the managers in their own development and strengthen the teams coaching capabilities;
  • Act as a Single Point of Contact for global HR themes.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or similar;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (tactical & strategic level) within an international environment;
  • Proven experience with change management;
  • Proven experience with project management;
  • Excellent coaching skills;
  • Excellent language skills in English and Dutch;
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 2 days per month).
