Analysis of recently generated Material Engineering Data (MED) for cFRTPs
Uniaxial tensile & compression
In-plane shear & Short beam shear
Flexural bending & Out-of plane dart impact
Creep
Development of an analytical model to predict MED for similar material compositions (fiber types, resin types) under similar conditions (temperature, humidity, rate)
Experimental validation for the developed model
Expected duration / period: Minimum 6, preferably 9 months.
End year project or learning internship
English - fluent
Strong analytical skills
Numerical modelling capabilities (Matlab, Excel-macro-Visual Basic, Visual-Studio)
Experimental capabilities (tabbing & testing/evaluating of composite materials using available test equipment in lab)
Education level: Batchelor/Master student
Education type: Thermoplastic materials related. Knowledge/Experience with continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Composites is preferred.
